bismillah

تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeem(i)

The revelation of this Book is from Allah-SWT, the Mighty, the Wise.

(39:1)

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ فَاعْبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ الدِّينَ

Inna anzalna ilayka alkitaba bi(a)lhaqqi fa(o)AAbudi Allaha mukhlisan lahu a(l)ddeen(a)

Verily We-SWT ! We-SWT have sent down the Book to you with truth: So worship you Allah-SWT, making religion pure for Him-SWT .

(39:2)

أَلَا لِلَّهِ الدِّينُ الْخَالِصُ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاء مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَى إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي مَا هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ كَاذِبٌ كَفَّارٌ

Ala lillahi a(l)ddeenu alkhalisu wa(a)llatheena ittakhathoo min doonihi awliyaa ma naAAbuduhum illa liyuqarriboona ila Allahi zulfa inna Allaha yahkumu baynahum fee ma hum feehi yakhtalifoona inna Allaha la yahdee man huwa kathibun kaffar(un)

Lo! For Allaah-SWT is the pure religion only, and those who take patrons besides Him-SWT , saying: We do not worship them save in order that they may bring us closer to Allaah-SWT -verily Allaah-SWT will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Verily Allaah-SWT does not guide him who is a liar and ingrate.

(39:3)

لَوْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَّاصْطَفَى مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاء سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ

Law arada Allahu an yattakhitha waladan la(i)stafa mimma yakhluqu ma yashao subhanahu huwa Allahu alwahidu alqahhar(u)

Had Allaah-SWT willed to take a son, He-SWT would have chosen whomsoever He-SWT pleased out of what He-SWT has created. Hallowed be He-SWT ! He-SWT is Allah-SWT, the One, the Subduer.

(39:4)

خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ يُكَوِّرُ اللَّيْلَ عَلَى النَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهَارَ عَلَى اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى أَلَا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ

Khalaqa a(l)ssamawati wa(a)larda bi(a)lhaqqi yukawwiru allayla AAala a(l)nnahari wayukawwiru a(l)nnahara AAala allayli wasakhkhara a(l)shshamsa wa(a)lqamara kullun yajree liajalin musamman ala huwa alAAazeezu alghaffar(u)

He-SWT has created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. He-SWT rolls the night around the day, and He-SWT rolls the day around the night and He-SWT has subjected the sun and the moon each running on for a term appointed; lo! He-SWT is the Mighty, the Forgiving.

(39:5)

خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ الْأَنْعَامِ ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ خَلْقًا مِن بَعْدِ خَلْقٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ ثَلَاثٍ ذَلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّى تُصْرَفُونَ

Khalaqakum min nafsin wahidatin thumma jaAAala minha zawjaha waanzala lakum mina alanAAami thamaniyata azwajin yakhluqukum fee butooni ommahatikum khalqan min baAAdi khalqin fee thulumatin thalathin thalikumu Allahu rabbukum lahu almulku la ilaha illa huwa faanna tusrafoon(a)

He-SWT created you of a single soul and made his spouse therefrom, and of the cattle He-SWT sent down to you eight kinds. He-SWT creates you in the bellies of your mothers, one creation after creation, in threefold darkness. Such is Allah-SWT, your Rabb. His-SWT is the dominion, there is no god but He-SWT . Whither then turn you away?

(39:6)

إِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا يَرْضَى لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

In takfuroo fainna Allaha ghaniyyun AAankum wala yarda liAAibadihi alkufra wain tashkuroo yardahu lakum wala taziru waziratun wizra okhra thumma ila rabbikum marjiAAukum fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona innahu AAaleemun bithati a(l)ssudoor(i)

If you disbelieve, then verily Allaah-SWT is Independent of you. And He-SWT does not approve of infidelity in His-SWT bondmen. And if you return thanks, He-SWT approves of that in you. No burdened soul shall have another's burden. Your return is thereafter to your Rabb-SWT , and He-SWT shall declare to you what you have been doing, verily He-SWT is Knower of innumerate secrets.

(39:7)

وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ

Waitha massa alinsana durrun daAAa rabbahu muneeban ilayhi thumma itha khawwalahu niAAmatan minhu nasiya ma kana yadAAoo ilayhi min qablu wajaAAala lillahi andadan liyudilla AAan sabeelihi qul tamattaAA bikufrika qaleelan innaka min ashabi a(l)nnar(i)

And when some hurt touches man, he calls upon his Rabb-SWT , turning to Him-SWT in penitence. Then when He-SWT bestows upon him a favour from Himself-SWT , he forgets that for which he had called on Him-SWT before, and sets up peers to Allaah-SWT that he may lead astray others from His-SWT Path. Say you-SW : Enjoy you life in your infidelity for a while, verily you are of the inmates of the Fire.

(39:8)

أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَانِتٌ آنَاء اللَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَائِمًا يَحْذَرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُو رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ

Amman huwa qanitun anaa allayli sajidan waqaiman yahtharu alakhirata wayarjoo rahmata rabbihi qul hal yastawee allatheena yaAAlamoona wa(a)llatheena la yaAAlamoona innama yatathakkaru oloo alalbab(i)

Is he who is devout in the watches of the night prostrating himself and standing, bewaring of the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Rabb-SWT to be dealt with like a wicked infidel? Say you-SW: Shall they who know and those who know not be held equal? It is only men of understanding who receive admonition.

(39:9)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Allah-SWT   is Absolute, Independent and Wise. He-SWT sent His-SWT Book to mankind indeed as a favour. The raising of the Holy Prophet-SW and the revelation of the Book are Truths meant to help people obey Him-SWT with the utmost sincerity from the very core of their hearts.

 

Sincerity of the Qalb and Barakah of the Book 

In other words, this Book is true and what it reveals is also true. Those who believe in it are blessed with deep-hearted sincerity as a result of its Barakah. And those who deny must know that worship and obedience is only for Allaah-SWT . Obeying   others on the pretext that they are means of acquiring His-SWT Nearness or conveying one's demands to Him-SWT leads to inevitable disaster. The infidels persist on their stance today with all kinds of arguments to support their practices, but on the Day of Judgement they shall clearly see the consequences of worshipping and obeying others. They are the accursed who utter falsehood and at the same time harbour   denial inside their bosoms. They lie that they seek Allah-SW 's  Nearness through their deities. Had they believed in Him-SWT , wouldn't have they obeyed Him-SWT ?

 

Rituals do not lead to Allah-SWT ’s Nearness 

Rituals cannot be considered as means of acquiring Allah-SWT's Nearness. People lie for vested interests that all their actions are in that direction. In fact their hearts are polluted with denial, void of any desire for guidance and as such Allaah-SWT does not guide them.

They suggest sons and daughters for Him-SWT .  Well ! If He-SWT had to take progeny, He-SWT had a wide choice from His-SWT creation. How absurd it is to suggest progeny for Him-SWT from His-SWT humble creation. There is no one like Him-SWT ; He-SWT is the only One, a Mighty Subduer. Ascribing progeny to Him-SWT is sure to invoke His-SWT Wrath.

 

He-SWT has created everything-the heavens, the earth, and the alternating cycle of days and nights. The sun, the moon and other heavenly bodies are enjoined to follow a fixed pattern on the pre-determined paths and the given time schedule. They are constantly on the move in their orbits at the given speed and time schedule. The entire creation is dependent on this well coordinated system, and the slightest deviation can destroy the world. So how can there be progeny for Him-SWT ? Even now if they turn to Him-SWT in penitence and denounce polytheism, He-SWT is extremely Forgiving.  O' people! Just take a look at your origin! He-SWT created you from a single soul Prophet Adam-AS, from whom his wife was also created. Then gradually others were born to the couple and thus the world became inhabited. He-SWT also blessed you with a variety of animals.

 

Now take a look at the process of your own creation; how He-SWT gradually develops a baby in the mother's womb, enshrouded into darkness within the walls of the uterus. And in this utter darkness He-SWT puts together such a complex network of blood vessels, nerves, tissues and bones, and endows hearing and sight, wisdom and intellect, sensitivity and awareness. This Omnipotent is your Rabb-SWT to   Whom-SWT belongs absolute sovereignty and rule! So beware that there is none else like Him-SWT , nor is anyone else worthy of worship. Where then do you wander O' people? If you persist on refuting His-SWT Magnificence, He-SWT is least bothered and is in no need of you. Remember that the denial annoys Him-SWT . On the other hand, if you display gratitude by believing in Him-SWT and opt for obedience, the real manner of displaying gratitude, you will attain His-SWT Pleasure. In short, the former attitude is loss, while the latter is gain. None other than Him-SWT will be of any avail to you, being preoccupied with his own accountability. No one will share the burden of another, and eventually you will have to return to Him-SWT , for Providence demands that every affair must attain its climax and sequel. When you will finally reach His-SWT Court after having gone through the laid down process, you will find that He-SWT also knows all those accounts of your life which you yourself had forgotten and will recount to you all the secrets inside your bosom.

 

Is it not strange that when man is stranded and loses all hope of help from other quarters, he cries out to Allah-SWT ? But once his suffering is alleviated he forgets about it altogether, neglects His-SWT Path and re-associates his hopes with others. So the deniers may enjoy this very short respite, and eventually get ready for Hell.

 

The eternal bliss is for those who worship Him-SWT with sincere heart, adorn their nights with prostrations before Him-SWT , fear the Day of Judgement and seek His-SWT Clemency. Never can a heart enlightened with Allah-SWT ’s Cognition be equal to the one deep in the darkness of denial and ignorance! Only the men of understanding heed and appreciate the point.
