سورة الزمر
Surah Name: Az-Zumar Meaning: The Troops
تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeem(i) The revelation of this Book is from Allah-SWT, the Mighty, the Wise. (39:1) |
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ فَاعْبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ الدِّينَ Inna anzalna ilayka alkitaba bi(a)lhaqqi fa(o)AAbudi Allaha mukhlisan lahu a(l)ddeen(a) Verily We-SWT ! We-SWT have sent down the Book to you with truth: So worship you Allah-SWT, making religion pure for Him-SWT . (39:2) |
Ala lillahi a(l)ddeenu alkhalisu wa(a)llatheena ittakhathoo min doonihi awliyaa ma naAAbuduhum illa liyuqarriboona ila Allahi zulfa inna Allaha yahkumu baynahum fee ma hum feehi yakhtalifoona inna Allaha la yahdee man huwa kathibun kaffar(un) Lo! For Allaah-SWT is the pure religion only, and those who take patrons besides Him-SWT , saying: We do not worship them save in order that they may bring us closer to Allaah-SWT -verily Allaah-SWT will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Verily Allaah-SWT does not guide him who is a liar and ingrate. (39:3) |
Law arada Allahu an yattakhitha waladan la(i)stafa mimma yakhluqu ma yashao subhanahu huwa Allahu alwahidu alqahhar(u) Had Allaah-SWT willed to take a son, He-SWT would have chosen whomsoever He-SWT pleased out of what He-SWT has created. Hallowed be He-SWT ! He-SWT is Allah-SWT, the One, the Subduer. (39:4) |
Khalaqa a(l)ssamawati wa(a)larda bi(a)lhaqqi yukawwiru allayla AAala a(l)nnahari wayukawwiru a(l)nnahara AAala allayli wasakhkhara a(l)shshamsa wa(a)lqamara kullun yajree liajalin musamman ala huwa alAAazeezu alghaffar(u) He-SWT has created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. He-SWT rolls the night around the day, and He-SWT rolls the day around the night and He-SWT has subjected the sun and the moon each running on for a term appointed; lo! He-SWT is the Mighty, the Forgiving. (39:5) |
Khalaqakum min nafsin wahidatin thumma jaAAala minha zawjaha waanzala lakum mina alanAAami thamaniyata azwajin yakhluqukum fee butooni ommahatikum khalqan min baAAdi khalqin fee thulumatin thalathin thalikumu Allahu rabbukum lahu almulku la ilaha illa huwa faanna tusrafoon(a) He-SWT created you of a single soul and made his spouse therefrom, and of the cattle He-SWT sent down to you eight kinds. He-SWT creates you in the bellies of your mothers, one creation after creation, in threefold darkness. Such is Allah-SWT, your Rabb. His-SWT is the dominion, there is no god but He-SWT . Whither then turn you away? (39:6) |
In takfuroo fainna Allaha ghaniyyun AAankum wala yarda liAAibadihi alkufra wain tashkuroo yardahu lakum wala taziru waziratun wizra okhra thumma ila rabbikum marjiAAukum fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona innahu AAaleemun bithati a(l)ssudoor(i) If you disbelieve, then verily Allaah-SWT is Independent of you. And He-SWT does not approve of infidelity in His-SWT bondmen. And if you return thanks, He-SWT approves of that in you. No burdened soul shall have another's burden. Your return is thereafter to your Rabb-SWT , and He-SWT shall declare to you what you have been doing, verily He-SWT is Knower of innumerate secrets. (39:7) |
Waitha massa alinsana durrun daAAa rabbahu muneeban ilayhi thumma itha khawwalahu niAAmatan minhu nasiya ma kana yadAAoo ilayhi min qablu wajaAAala lillahi andadan liyudilla AAan sabeelihi qul tamattaAA bikufrika qaleelan innaka min ashabi a(l)nnar(i) And when some hurt touches man, he calls upon his Rabb-SWT , turning to Him-SWT in penitence. Then when He-SWT bestows upon him a favour from Himself-SWT , he forgets that for which he had called on Him-SWT before, and sets up peers to Allaah-SWT that he may lead astray others from His-SWT Path. Say you-SW : Enjoy you life in your infidelity for a while, verily you are of the inmates of the Fire. (39:8) |
Amman huwa qanitun anaa allayli sajidan waqaiman yahtharu alakhirata wayarjoo rahmata rabbihi qul hal yastawee allatheena yaAAlamoona wa(a)llatheena la yaAAlamoona innama yatathakkaru oloo alalbab(i) Is he who is devout in the watches of the night prostrating himself and standing, bewaring of the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Rabb-SWT to be dealt with like a wicked infidel? Say you-SW: Shall they who know and those who know not be held equal? It is only men of understanding who receive admonition. (39:9) |
